Installation 1. Secure the Relay to the wire loom next to the Battery with wire ties. Secure top and bottom with wire ties (see Picture 1). Note: It is suggested to loosen the battery from the base and move it to allow extra working room. Picture 1 2. Attach the ring terminal with 2 black wires to the 10mm ground bolt next to the battery (see picture 2) Run the fog light wire harness on the driver side of the car. Use wire ties as needed Vehicle Disassembly 5. Remove the screws on the lower part of the instrument panel (picture 6) Picture 6 6. Remove lower instrument panel sub assy (picture 6) 7. Mount switch into switch knockout on left side of dash (see picture 9) Picture 9 8. From inside the cabin, locate the wires that were pushed through in step 4. It will be the grommet above the gas pedal (see picture 10) Picture 10 9. Install switch harness (see picture 11) Picture 11 10. Locate the junction box behind the lower instrument panel (picture 12) Picture 12 11. T-tap green/black wire from fog light harness to connector DB pin 16, red wire (bottom pin on right). Connector DB is in the driver’s side junction box, located on the left side of the steering column (pic. 13 & 14) 12. T-Tap orange/black wire from fog light harness to connector DB pin 18, blue wire (right side third pin up from bottom). Secure with wire ties. 14. Reinstall dash panels 15. Route the fog light wire under car. 16. Remove splash shields 17. Remove both front bumper hole covers. Detach wire harness clamps and release the 3 claws and remove (picture 15) Picture 15 18. Re-secure detached wire harness and plug in left side fog light into harness plug and secure with wire ties. Snap fog light bezel into bumper hole (picture 16) Picture 16 19. Run right side of wire harness through bumper sub frame to right fog lamp opening (see picture 17

Remove the negative battery terminal Installation 1. Secure the relay to the next to the fuse block with wire ties 2. Attach the ring terminal with 2 black wires to ground 3. Attach fog light 12v red wire to open spade inside the fuse block as shown in picture 1 Picture 1 4. Locate the large vehicle harness grommet on the left side. Cut the auxiliary wiring access nipple off the grommet and push small 2-wire connector through firewall. Note: Extra caution should be taken not to damage connector 5. Run wires along the driver side of the engine compartment. Secure with wire ties as needed 6. From inside the cabin remove dash panels and locate the little small connector that was pushed through in step 4. Plug it to the switch harness. 7. T-tap orange/black wire from fog light harness to connector 2C pin 32 green wire. Pin 32 is on the left side of the connector 7th pin up from bottom of the connector. Connector 2C located left of the steering column above big white wire picture 2 Picture 2 8. T-Tap green/black wire from fog light harness to connector L47 pin 11, pink wire (it is the last pin to the left). Connector L47 is on the steering column and plugs into the headlight control arm picture 3 Picture 3 9. Mount switch into switch knockout of dash (picture 4) FOG LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TPR-301 TOYOTA PRIUS 2010+ Picture 4 10. Install switch harness 11. Reinstall dash panels 12. Route the fog light wire under car. 13. Remove fog light cover plates and lower splash shields 14. Mount fog lights into bezel by sliding fog light tabs into slots and secure other side with supplied screw (see picture 5) Picture 5 15. Install both fog light bezels 16. Plug in left side fog light into harness plug 17. Run right fog light wire harness and plug into right fog light. Secure with wire ties 18. Reattach the lower splash shields

Items required for installation: Push pin 10mm bolt 10mm nut TOYOTA PRIUS 2010 FOG LAMP KIT 1 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 3.2 • Attach fog lamp to bezel. STEP 3.3 • Fog lamp and bezel assembly. STEP 3.4 • Place fog lamp and bezel assembly onto vehicle. Fasten fog lamp to vehicle with 10mm nut and supplied screw. ( Repeat step 3 for passenger side ) STEP 4.0 Removal of interior trim on driver side STEP 4.1 • Pull up on lower door trim. STEP 4.2 • Foot panel-Remove 16mm plastic nut. STEP 4.3 • Pull foot panel inward toward center console. STEP 4.4 • Remove screw. STEP 4.5 • Disconnect hood release cable from latch by pulling down on the black cable freeing it from its location. Then moving the cable to the left away from the mounting bracket. STEP 4.6 • Remove cable from latch. STEP 4.7 • Pull lower left interior panel away from dash and unplug connectors. CAUTION! You may damage wiring and connectors if you pull too hard. Driver side interior removed. 2 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 4.8 • Remove two screws and push back on tab to free lower panel. STEP 4.9 • Unplug connector and wire harness from panel and remove panel by pulling it toward the driver seat. STEP 5.0 Fog lamp switching wiring • Run WHITE wire through V-channel and pull female bullet connector end towards fire wall. • Connect ground wire to dashboard frame. STEP 5.4 • Plug green connector into fog lamp switch. (Plug all connectors removed from Step 4 and place panel back in position) STEP 6.0 Fog lamp wiring harness • From the panel removed under the steering wheel locate hole in grommet. STEP 6.1 • Puncture hole with O-ring pick/Philips screw driver or any sharp object no larger that the black tubing. (You want a tight seal between grommet and wire). STEP 5.1 • Remove tape from lower connector on ECU and locate BROWN wire. Use the bridge connector to connect RED wire to BROWN wire. You may need to cut RED wire to proper length. STEP 5.2 • Remove. STEP 5.3 • Replace with fog lamp switch. STEP 6.2 • Insert coat hanger or welding rod through punctured hole. Push rod far enough into engine compartment so you can retrieve it. STEP 6.3 • Bend tip or rod with needle nose pliers. STEP 6.4 • Insert hook end into bullet connector making sure black tubing is close to rod. V-channel Ground 3 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 6.5 IMPORTANT! Wrap electrical tape around connector, tubing and rod. It is important that all three be secured as one unit so not to rip connector from wiring. You want tubing to take as much of the pull force as possible. STEP 6.6 • Apply soapy water to the entire length of black tubing and from the inside of the vehicle pull rod until wire breaks through grommet. 2.5-3ft of wiring should be sufficient. STEP 6.7 • Run wiring along side the black tube indicated until it meets female end of the WHITE fog lamp wire switch. STEP 6.8 • Connect both ends together and tie strap wiring to black tube. STEP 6.9 • On the top left corner of the fuse box (to the right of the brake fluid reservoir) locate silver ECU mounting bracket. STEP 6.10 • Remove 10mm bolts and attach BLACK ground and relay as indicated. STEP 6.11 • Attach harness connector to relay. STEP 6.12 • Run wire harness between ECU and fuse box. Run RED power wire along the same path as WHITE power wire in fuse box. Connect RED power wire to 12V power source directly above WHITE cable. STEP 7.0 Connecting wire harness to fog lamps • Run wiring for driver and passenger side lamps down toward driver side fog lamp. • Connect shortest harness to driver side fog lamp. Run wire harness alongside turn signal harness. • Use the supplied tie straps to secure passenger side wire harness along the radiator support frame shown. • Connect harness to fog lamp • END of installation

Installation 1. Secure the Relay to the wire loom next to the Battery with wire ties. Secure top and bottom with wire ties. 2. Attach the ring terminal with 2 black wires to the 10mm bolt next to the relay 3. Connect the ring terminal from the relay (12v red wire) to the positive terminal of the battery 4. Locate the large vehicle harness grommet on the left side. Cut the auxiliary wiring access nipple off the grommet and push small 2-wire connector through firewall. Note: Extra caution should be taken not to damage connector. Seal with 3M Silicone sealant (see picture 1) Picture 1 5. Run the fog light wire harness on the driver side of the car. Use wire ties as needed. 6. Remove dash panels 7. Mount switch into switch knockout on left side of dash 8. From inside the cabin, locate the small connector that were pushed through in step 4. It will be the grommet above the gas pedal 9. Install switch harness 10. T-tap green/black wire from fog light harness to connector E21 pin 11, light green wire (first pin on right). Connector E21 is located on the left side of the steering column (picture 2) Picture 2 11. ADJUSTMENTS WINDOWS Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Loosen bolts holding window to regulator. Raise window fully, seating window in frame. Tighten bolts. Install door trim panel. TROUBLE SHOOTING POWER WINDOWS On Dakota, inspect circuit breaker No. 20 (20-amp) in junction block. On Durango inspect circuit breaker No. 21 (25-amp) in junction block. On all models, junction block is located on left end of instrument panel. Inspect fuse No. 9 (40-amp on Dakota, 50-amp on Durango) in Power Distribution Center (PDC). PDC is located in left front corner of engine compartment. Inspect power window system ground circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . SYSTEM TESTS ALL WINDOWS INOPERATIVE Dakota 1. Check circuit breaker for power window system. See TROUBLE SHOOTING . Replace circuit breaker as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, go to next step. 2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver’s front power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity between ground and terminal No. 3 (Black wire) at driver power window switch wiring harness connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Black wire between driver power window 2000 Dodge Durango 2000 ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT’ ‘Power Windows – Dakota & Durango 2000 Dodge Durango 2000 ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT’ ‘Power Windows – Dakota & Durango switch connector and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . 3. Connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 5 (Tan wire) at driver’s power window switch wiring harness connector. If battery voltage is present, check driver power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present, repair open Tan wire between driver power window switch connector and ignition switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . See POWER DISTRIBUTION article in WIRING DIAGRAMS. Grounding the Automobile A perfectly and beautifully wired automobile will nevertheless have bugs and problems if everything is not properly grounded. Do not go to the careful effort of installing a quality wire harness only to neglect proper grounding. Note: The Painless Wire Harness Kit includes no ground wire except the black wire from the two headlamp connectors. You must supply ground wire (14-16 gauge) for all circuits. 6.3.1 Connect a Ground Strap or Cable (2-gauge minimum) from the Negative Battery terminal to the automobile chassis (frame). 6.3.2 Connect a Ground Strap from the Engine to the chassis (even a 10-gauge wire is too small) . DO NOT RELY UPON THE MOTOR MOUNTS TO MAKE THIS CONNECTION . 6.3.3 Connect a Ground Strap from the Engine to the Body. 6.3.4 If you have a fiberglass body you should install a terminal block to ground all your Gauges and Accessories. Ground the Terminal Block with at least a 12-gauge wire to the chassis. 6.4 Terminal Installation and Making Connections Note: In the following steps you will be making the circuit connections. Before you start, you should carefully read Sections 7.0 through 10.0 , as appropriate, and continually refer to Section 10.0 , DOUBLE- CHECKING your routing and length calculations before cutting any wires and making connections. Give special attention to Turn Signal and Ignition Switch connections. These can be somewhat confusing. 6.4.1 Have all needed tools and connectors handy. 6.4.2 Select the correct size terminal for the wire and stud application. 6.4.3 Determine the correct wire length and cut the wire. Remember to allow enough slack in the harness and wires at places where movement could possibly occur, such as automobile body to frame, frame to engine, etc. Double-check your calculations. 6.4.4 Strip insulation away from wire. Strip only enough necessary for the type of terminal lug you are using. Note: In the following step, make sure that the terminal is crimped with the proper die in the crimping tool. An improper crimp will NOT make a good connection. 6.4.5 Crimp the terminal onto the wire. CAUTION: DO NOT OVER-CRIMP! 6.4.6 Connecting the harness throughout the groups is a redundant process. Make sure that each wire is FIRST properly routed and THEN attach. DO NOT ATTACH FIRST THEN ROUTE AFTERWARD. 6.4.7 When all wires are attached, tighten the mounts and ties to secure harness permanently. 6.5 Testing The System 6.5.1 Use a small (10 amp or less) battery charger to power up the vehicle for circuit testing. If there is a problem anywhere, the battery charger’s low amperage and internal circuit breaker will provide circuit protection. CAUTION: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY FROM THE AUTOMOBILE, DO SO NOW! DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY CHARGER WITH THE BATTERY CONNECTED. Connect the battery charger’s NEGATIVE output to the automobile chassis or engine block and its POSITIVE output to the automobile’s positive battery terminal. 6.5.2 INDIVIDUALLY turn on each light, ignition, wiper circuit, etc. and check for proper operation. Note: The turn signals will not flash properly if you do not have both the front and rear bulbs installed and connected. 6.5.3 When all circuits check out THEN attach the battery cable to the battery for vehicle operation

Fuel pump relay is located in the front of the trunk. Turn ignition switch to START position. If engine starts, go to next step. If engine does not start, go to FUEL PUMP RESISTOR (3.5RL) . 2. Turn engine off and ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and PCM 12-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Green wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 4). 3. Start engine and run at 3000 RPM with no loads and transmission in Park or Neutral, until radiator fan comes on. Allow engine to idle for at least one minute. Turn engine off. Disconnect vacuum hose No. 21 from vacuum manifold. Apply 8-12 in. Hg (27-40 kPa) vacuum to Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. Start engine and run at 6500 RPM with no loads and transmission in Park or Neutral. Measure voltage between ground and PCM 12-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Green wire). If less than one volt is present, fuel pump relay circuit is okay. If one volt or more is present, substitute a known good PCM, then recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM. 4. Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM 26-pin and 12-pin connectors. Disconnect fuel pump relay 4-pin connector. Using a fused jumper wire, connect fuel pump relay connector terminals No. 2 (Red/White wire) and No. 4 (Green wire). Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and PCM 12-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Green wire). If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, replace fuel pump relay. 5. Remove jumper wire. Measure voltage between ground and fuel pump relay 4-pin connector terminal No. 2 (Red/White wire). If battery voltage is present, repair open or short in Green wire between PCM and fuel pump relay. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Red/White wire between fuel pump relay and FUEL PUMP fuse No. 22 (20-amp), located in underdash fuse/relay box. FUEL PUMP RESISTOR (3.5RL) 1. Fuel pump resistor is located in the left corner of the trunk. Disconnect fuel pump resistor 2-pin connector. Turn ignition on and measure voltage between ground and fuel pump resistor connector terminal No. 2 (Yellow wire) within 2 seconds. If battery voltage is present for 2 seconds after ignition is turned on, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present as specified, check PGM-FI relay. See PGM- FI MAIN RELAY . 2. Turn ignition off. Using a jumper wire, connect fuel pump resistor connector terminals No. 1 (Black/Yellow wire) and No. 2 (Yellow wire). Turn ignition switch to START position. If engine does not start, go to next step. If engine starts, replace fuel pump resistor. 3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect fuel unit sub-harness Gray, 10-pin connector located in front of trunk, above fuel pump access panel, next to Gray, 20-pin connector. Turn ignition on and measure voltage between ground and sub-harness connector terminal No. 7 (Black/Yellow wire) within 2 seconds. If battery voltage is present for 2 seconds after ignition is turned on, check fuel pump. If battery voltage is present as specified, repair open in Black/Yellow wire between fuel pump resistor and fuel pump

1. Open the driver side door and lower the window. 2. Remove the door panel, kick panel, and plastic trim piece along the bottom of the door frame. 3. Disconnect the mirror wire harness. Remove the three mirror mounting nuts and remove the mirror housing from the vehicle. 1 2 3 Mirror Replacement – 2 – 4 There is a plug seated in a socket in the center of the mirror that holds the mirror in the mirror housing. Lift up the inboard edge of the mirror. Use a small pry bar and pry up around the center of the mirror until the plug unseats from the socket. 5 There are two drive pins on the bottom and outboard sides of the mirror. Hold the top of the mirror away from the mirror housing and pry away the bottom drive pin from the back of the mirror. 6 Hold the inboard side of the mirror away from the mirror housing and pry away the outboard drive pin from the back of the mirror. IF heated, disconnect OE heater wire from heater terminals. Note: During the removal of the original mirror, if motor pins stay attached to the back plate, use “V” end in small pry bar or needle nose pliers to disengage pins from back plate. Set the mirror aside. 7 8 Using the shorter of the two harnesses from the kit, tape the end without the mating connector to the end of the gopher wire. Remove the foam insulation from the mirror housing sail. Starting from the inside of the mirror housing, guide a piece of gopher wire down alongside the existing factory wire harness and out of the bottom of the mirror housing sail. 9 Pull the gopher wire and wire harness through the mirror housing until about 4 inches of wire remain inside the mirror housing.
13 Tuck the wire harness behind the Signal® mirror. Insert the other drive pin into the outboard pin socket (socket closest to the optic module). Align the socket in the center of the Signal® mirror over the plug on the center of the mirror mount. Align drive pins to its mating slots on the motor mount and vice-versa. Anti-vibration tab should be tucked inside housing. 14 Use the palm of your hand and firmly press down on lower portion (marked boundaries) of the Signal® mirror until it snaps into position. Press down carefully on the mirror outboard edge to engage outboard drive pin into mirror mount socket. 15 Press mirror down carefully on the lower edge to engage the lower drive pin into motor mount. Remount mirror to door, then use Electronic Hand Control to relocate mirror position. Gently clean any finger mark/dirt away from mirror using paper towel and glass cleaner. 10 Guide the Signal® mirror harness along the existing path of the factory wire harness and through the foam insulation. Remove any slack in the wire. Reposition the foam insulation on the mirror housing sail. 11 Connect the Signal® mirror mating connector to the Signal ® mirror harness. If heated , reconnect the heater wires to the heater terminals on the back of the new Signal® mirror. NOTE: There is no polarity so the wires may be interchanged. Disregard heater connections on vehicles not equipped with outside heated mirrors. 12 The drive pins must be aligned before installing the Signal® mirror. If needed, insert a drive pin into the lower socket on the mirror mount. Align the nubs on the lower drive pin so it points to the round plug in the center of the mirror mount.

This diagram is the most common way to plumb a proportioning valve. In some cases, the right front line will be plugged off at the proportioning valve and the left front line will go to a “T” fitting. From the “T” fitting, the front lines then split off and go to the left and right wheels. Our proportioning valve has a warning light switch built in (this is not a stop light switch.) The warning light will detect any loss of pressure, for example, a leaky wheel cylinder. We recommend you wire this light into your system. Any two wire light socket will work. One wire goes to the accessory power and the other goes to the warning light. Our proportioning valves provide four functions: 1. Proportion pressure front and rear 2. 10 psi. residual check valve 3. Metering valve to apply pressure to the rear brakes before the front brakes 4. A brake warning light to detect a loss in pressure Proportioning Valve Plumbing Diagram: There are two proportioning valve lines that connect to the master cylinder provided in our kits. The first is a 90 degree bend with one leg longer than the other. This line must be oriented with the long leg connected into the front top hole of the proportioning valve and the short end in the front hole on the master cylinder. The second line has two 90 degree bends and has color coded fittings. The larger blue fitting goes into the back hole on the master cylinder and the smaller gold fitting goes into the back top hole on the proportion valve as shown in the diagram
