Items required for installation: Push pin 10mm bolt 10mm nut TOYOTA PRIUS 2010 FOG LAMP KIT 1 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 3.2 • Attach fog lamp to bezel. STEP 3.3 • Fog lamp and bezel assembly. STEP 3.4 • Place fog lamp and bezel assembly onto vehicle. Fasten fog lamp to vehicle with 10mm nut and supplied screw. ( Repeat step 3 for passenger side ) STEP 4.0 Removal of interior trim on driver side STEP 4.1 • Pull up on lower door trim. STEP 4.2 • Foot panel-Remove 16mm plastic nut. STEP 4.3 • Pull foot panel inward toward center console. STEP 4.4 • Remove screw. STEP 4.5 • Disconnect hood release cable from latch by pulling down on the black cable freeing it from its location. Then moving the cable to the left away from the mounting bracket. STEP 4.6 • Remove cable from latch. STEP 4.7 • Pull lower left interior panel away from dash and unplug connectors. CAUTION! You may damage wiring and connectors if you pull too hard. Driver side interior removed. 2 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 4.8 • Remove two screws and push back on tab to free lower panel. STEP 4.9 • Unplug connector and wire harness from panel and remove panel by pulling it toward the driver seat. STEP 5.0 Fog lamp switching wiring • Run WHITE wire through V-channel and pull female bullet connector end towards fire wall. • Connect ground wire to dashboard frame. STEP 5.4 • Plug green connector into fog lamp switch. (Plug all connectors removed from Step 4 and place panel back in position) STEP 6.0 Fog lamp wiring harness • From the panel removed under the steering wheel locate hole in grommet. STEP 6.1 • Puncture hole with O-ring pick/Philips screw driver or any sharp object no larger that the black tubing. (You want a tight seal between grommet and wire). STEP 5.1 • Remove tape from lower connector on ECU and locate BROWN wire. Use the bridge connector to connect RED wire to BROWN wire. You may need to cut RED wire to proper length. STEP 5.2 • Remove. STEP 5.3 • Replace with fog lamp switch. STEP 6.2 • Insert coat hanger or welding rod through punctured hole. Push rod far enough into engine compartment so you can retrieve it. STEP 6.3 • Bend tip or rod with needle nose pliers. STEP 6.4 • Insert hook end into bullet connector making sure black tubing is close to rod. V-channel Ground 3 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 6.5 IMPORTANT! Wrap electrical tape around connector, tubing and rod. It is important that all three be secured as one unit so not to rip connector from wiring. You want tubing to take as much of the pull force as possible. STEP 6.6 • Apply soapy water to the entire length of black tubing and from the inside of the vehicle pull rod until wire breaks through grommet. 2.5-3ft of wiring should be sufficient. STEP 6.7 • Run wiring along side the black tube indicated until it meets female end of the WHITE fog lamp wire switch. STEP 6.8 • Connect both ends together and tie strap wiring to black tube. STEP 6.9 • On the top left corner of the fuse box (to the right of the brake fluid reservoir) locate silver ECU mounting bracket. STEP 6.10 • Remove 10mm bolts and attach BLACK ground and relay as indicated. STEP 6.11 • Attach harness connector to relay. STEP 6.12 • Run wire harness between ECU and fuse box. Run RED power wire along the same path as WHITE power wire in fuse box. Connect RED power wire to 12V power source directly above WHITE cable. STEP 7.0 Connecting wire harness to fog lamps • Run wiring for driver and passenger side lamps down toward driver side fog lamp. • Connect shortest harness to driver side fog lamp. Run wire harness alongside turn signal harness. • Use the supplied tie straps to secure passenger side wire harness along the radiator support frame shown. • Connect harness to fog lamp • END of installation

Toyota Venza 2009-2010 1 D isconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Unclip and remove the trim panel to the right of the shifter. Toyota pilot bearing: Toyota uses a ball pilot bearing which is a very accurate fit on the end of the pilot shaft. I had to sand my pilot shaft down slightly with wet/dry paper to get the bearing to be other than a force fit. You need a sliding fit for installation of the trans in the car. Pilot Tool adjustment: I believe it is necessary, or desirable at least, to tighten up the accuracy of the supplied plastic pilot tool to make sure the nose of the first-motion shaft will slide into the Toyota pilot bearing during installation of the trans. I wrapped the pilot tool with enough electrical tape so it was a perfect fit on both the pilot bearing and the clutch disc splines. 1 layer of tape around the contour of the splines did the trick. Smitty supplies an aluminum ring which holds the Toyota pilot bearing into the Healey flywheel. I used a vise to press the bearing into the ring, and a large 1-5/16 socket as a tool to hammer this into the recess in the flywheel. This was easy if you’re careful. Your lead hammer makes a dandy driver for this. Toyota Trans install: The shop manuals warn against tilting the engine into the radiator. Mine has the 6- bladed fan about 1/2″ back from the radiator and during this process it never came close to the radiator. If you have the block between the valve cover and the firewall, minor or no jacking of the engine should be necessary in order to get the Toyota trans in place. Position your trans jack or floor jack in the middle of the hole and place the Toyota trans on top of it. Lower enough to get the bell housing through the opening, then raise it back up to where the bolt holes align. Observe parallelism between the bell housing and engine flange. I believe the limiting factor here is the alignment of the Toyota pilot shaft with the pilot bearing–I believe this is at least as accurate as anything to do with the dowel bolts.

The owner notification will commence in early February, approximately one week after your dealership has been notified. This campaign will be launched in phases. • The first phase will include certain 2007 through 2010 model year Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles equipped with Denso accelerator pedals. These owner letters will be mailed over a period of several weeks. • Additional models, including Camrys equipped with a CTS accelerator pedal will be launched in later phases as the remedy is developed. • Information on additional phases related to Camry (equipped with a CTS accelerator pedal), Avalon, Corolla, Highlander, Matrix, Prius, Tacoma, Tundra and Venza will be provided prior to the launch of these phases. If your dealership is contacted by an owner of a Denso pedal equipped Camry who has not yet received a notification, please verify eligibility by confirming through Dealer Daily/TIS prior to performing repairs . Dealers should perform the repair as outlined in the attached Technical Instructions. 2. Vehicles in Dealer Stock • As required by Federal law, dealers are not to deliver any new vehicles in their inventory, which are involved in a safety recall unless the defect has been remedied. However, because this defect does not exist in vehicles in which the driver’s side floor mat is compatible with the vehicle and properly secured you may continue to sell new vehicles (with Denso pedals) that have not received the full remedy if you assure the driver’s position floor mat is semi-permanently secured or place the front driver’s and passenger’s floor mats in the trunk on any vehicles in stock prior to sale or lease. Vehicle safety recall completion can be verified through TIS. • In order to assure established customers receive priority for the safety recall, we request that this campaign remedy be performed on in-stock Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles just prior to vehicle delivery where possible. • A VIN list containing vehicles in dealer stock will be provided shortly

TOYOTA YARIS 2006 ELECTRONIC CRUISE KIT Section II – Installation Procedure Form #5007, Rev. B, 05-23-06 Page 2 of 7 Section II – Installation Procedure A. Pre-Installation Suggestions 1. It is advisable to disconnect the negative battery cable for 3 minutes before beginning installation, to avoid unintended air bag deployment. Note and record any anti-theft radio codes prior to disconnecting . (figure 1) 2. Remove driver side small object box, lower dash panel, and steering column cover for easy access. B. Install Electronic Modules 1. There are two electronic modules. The larger one is the Cruise Control Module and the smaller one is the Switch Interface Module . 2. Apply the larger supplied piece of double- sided adhesive tape to the Cruise Control Module, and the smaller piece of double-sided tape to the Switch Interface Module. 3. Assemble 20-pin connector from Main Wiring Harness onto mating connector of Cruise Control Module. Apply the 10 and 4 pin connectors from Pedal Interface Harness to mating connector on Switch Interface Module. Warning: Be sure to use the 4 pin connector that is on the same side of the wire harness fuse as the 10 pin connector. Failure to do so could damage vehicle’s ECM. See the picture insert in Figure 2 for further guidance. 4. Locate the linked harness between the Cruise Control and Switch Interface Modules. Connect the four pin mating connectors. 5. Place the Cruise Control Module on the back side of the main J/B. Then place the Switch Interface Module on the inside wall of the driver-side dash left of the J/B .(figure 2,3) 6. Route the Pedal Interface Harness through steering column and down to the accelerator .(figure 4 ) TOYOTA YARIS 2006 ELECTRONIC CRUISE KIT Section II – Installation Procedure Form #5007, Rev.
