1. Do not drain the engine oil until specified to in step 12 2. Remove strut tower brace (if equipped) 3. Remove engine cover by unbolting the four 10mm bolts . SEE FIGURE 1 FIGURE 1 4. Remove factory air box. SEE FIGURE 2 FIGURE 2 5. Remove mass air sensor from the stock intake tube using a Philips screwdriver. SEE FIGURES 3 & 4 FIGURE 3 FIGURE 4 60153_revA Page 8 of 31 6. Install the factory mass air sensor into the new supplied intake tube (P/N 21441) and secure using the two factory Philips screws. SEE FIGURE 5 FIGURE 5 7. Unplug the three O2 sensors on the factory exhaust manifold / catalytic converters. 8. Remove three 12mm bolts at the collector where the factory manifold / catalytic converter meets the exhaust. Save both factory crush o-rings, it will be used later when re-installing the new supplied downpipe. SEE FIGURE 6 FIGURE 6 9. Remove the factory exhaust manifold and catalytic converters by unbolting eight 14mm bolts. SEE FIGURES 7 & 8 INTAKE PIPE P/N 21441 FACTOR Y MASS AIR SENSOR 60153_revA Page 9 of 31 FIGURE 7 FIGURE 8 10. Unplug and remove all three O2 sensors (two pre-cats, and one post cat) from the factory exhaust manifold / catalytic converter. Make you keep track of which sensors are pre-cats and which one is post cat. SEE FIGURE 9 & 10 FIGURE 9 FIGURE 10 11. Locate the pad on the mid-pan on the passenger side of the vehicle. Drill the mid-pan with a 9/16″ drill bit and tap the hole with the supplied 3/8″ NPT tap (P/N 30809) for the turbo oil return. NOTE: When drilling and tapping the mid-pan, use extreme caution to get minimal amount of chips into the motor. Coat both drill bit and tap with excess amount of grease to catch any chips that may enter the engine. 12. Prior to draining the engine oil, clean the threaded hole thoroughly using brake / carb cleaner for any chips or debris. Remove oil drain plug and drain oil. 13. Install new supplied 5/8″ barb x 3/8″ NPT brass fitting (P/N 30133) to the new threaded hole on the mid- pan. It is strongly recommended that you apply a small amount of liquid Teflon to the threads of the fitting. Unplug the factory oil sending unit located on the driver’s side below the intake manifold, next to the oil filter. Remove sending unit using a 24mm socket. SEE FIGURE 12 FIGURE 12 15. Thread the supplied brass 1/8″ NPT to -3AN fitting (P/N 30544) to the supplied 1/8″ NPT T-fitting (P/N 30562) as shown in FIGURE 13 NOTE: It is recommended that you apply a minimal amount of liquid Teflon to the threads of the fittings. Thread the T-fitting assembly into the original port of the factory oil sending unit with the open female port facing upward when tightened. FIGURE 14 FIGURE 14 17. Install the factory oil sending unit to the open female port as shown in FIGURE 15 FIGURE 15 18. Install one end of the supplied -3AN line (P/N 10721) to the 1/8″ NPT to -3AN fitting (P/N 30544) installed previously on the t-fitting (P/N 30562) with the factory oil sending unit. SEE FIGURE 15 INSTALLING THE TURBOCHARGER, WASTEGATE, DOWNPIPE, AND MANIFOLD 19. Install the four supplied M10x1.25 studs (P/N 30806) to the turbo flange of the new supplied exhaust manifold (P/N 21444) and install the two supplied M8x1.25 studs (P/N 30860) into the wastegate flange on the new exhaust manifold. Installation Summary – Overview 1. Remove the existing front or rear seat covers. 2. Take note of whether the covers reattach by way of Velcro or Hog rings. 3. The Wire Connector with Purple & Black colored wires is seat the connector which will enable the use of both High & Low temperature functions. 4. Place the heating pads on the seat and at the Listing Reattachment Area mark the pad with a pen. You will be cutting 2 holes per pad. The holes should be equidistant. Example: If your listing length for Velcro or hog rings is 12′ in length then, make a hole at the 4″ & 8″ point. (The Seat Heaters may also be trimmed in length) 5. Now separate the protective adhesive backing at the backside of the heating pads and carefully align your pad and holes with the listing area and press the pads against the seat foam to secure the pad in place. 6. Reinstalling the Covers: Tip: For Backrest Covers, turn the cover inside-out and roll the cover back down the backrest, then reattach the plastic clips. For Seat Bottoms, start by attaching your Velcro or hog ring listings and then proceed to work outwards. Don’t work from front to back or from left to right – start from the middle then work outwards! 7. Switch Location: The diameter of the hole for the switch is 13/16″ or 21mm & the most common location for the switch is on the plastic trim located at the side of the seat. 8. Power Sources: The most common sources are the Accessory Panel, Power Seat, Cigarette Lighter/Accessory Outlet, and Steering Column. However, we recommend drawing power via a relayed key- start trigger sourced directly from the battery. This avoids onboard electronic system interference. ***Warning: If you are installing seat heaters into a vehicle which has a Passenger Side Occupancy Detection System for the Air Bags , You Must Observe The Following: When you remove the seat bottom seat covers, identify whether or not the seat is equipped with topside sensors. They are usually visible and resemble flat circular disks which are interconnected or rectangular in shape. If you are uncertain, you must contact a service department professional for confirmation. Toyota, Kia and Hyundai usually locate the sensors on top of the seat bottom core foam. Honda usually locates the sensors on the face of the seat backrest. In either case, for that particular seat (usually passenger sides only) use only the 2-temp wire connector with one of our seat heater pads. (Disconnect one of the other pads – you will not need it) *The dual temperature wire connector is attached to a black and a purple wire. This will allow dual temperature function with the use of only a single pad

Installation instructions: 1.) Open hood and disconnect negative battery cable from battery. 2.) Remove air box assembly from driver side of engine compartment to provide needed space to install header tubes. 3.) Raise and support vehicle on a suitable lift as per lift instructions. 4.) Disconnect all four oxygen sensor electrical harness connectors and remove sensors from exhaust system with a 7/8 wrench. Mark each sensor so as to enable reinstallation in the same location. 5.) Remove all fasteners and clamps attaching stock H-pipe to exhaust manifolds and over-axle pipes. Remove H-pipe from vehicle. 6.) Remove all fasteners (nuts and studs) attaching exhaust manifolds to cylinder heads and remove manifolds from engine. 7.) Loosely assemble passenger side header on the ground or bench top to obtain a mental picture of the relationship of the header tubes to each other and the collector. 8.) Disassemble header assembly and load passenger side header tubes into the car from bottom of engine. Do not bolt any tube to cylinder head until you are able to get all four into approximate position. Exercising patience during this step will help to prevent scratching the header coating. 9.) Attach passenger side header tubes to cylinder head using stock gaskets and supplied 8mm header bolts but do not fully tighten until last step. Be sure to use supplied anti-seize compound on bolt threads. 10.) Apply a thin coat of Permatex Ultra Copper high-temp silicone to inside of collector slip joints æ of the way to the bottom and install collector over ends of header tubes with oxygen sensor bung facing driveshaft. Use your finger to evenly spread sealant. 11.) Install supplied 1/4″ hardware into tabs on collector and corresponding header tubes. Do not tighten fasteners until last step of installation. 12.) Proceed to driver side. 13.) Loosely pre-assembly header assembly as before to obtain a mental picture of tube positions relative to each other then disassemble. 14.) Feed the number 2 header tube between steering column and frame and into its approximate installed position. You will need the assistance of a pry bar to accomplish this as the flange is slightly too large to pass through this point without doing so. 15.) Working through the top of engine compartment, install the number 1 header tube into position with the number two header tube. Now attach both header tubes to cylinder head with stock gaskets and supplied fasteners but do not fully tighten until last step. 16.) Install number 3 and number 4 tubes into position from underneath vehicle and attach to cylinder head with supplied fasteners; do not fully tighten until last step. 17.) Apply a thin coat of Permatex Ultra Copper high-temp silicone to inside of collector slip joints æ of the way to the bottom and install collector over ends of header tubes with oxygen sensor bung facing driveshaft. Use your finger to evenly spread sealant. 18.) Install pre-catalyst oxygen sensors into header collectors and connect to electrical harness with supplied harness extensions. 19.) If you are installing headers with a Bassani “X” style crossover pipe, install the crossover pipe as per the included instructions. The two oxygen sensor bungs included with these headers can to be used to install these headers with any custom fabricated mid-pipe assembly if you choose to not install a direct fit, Bassani off-road or catalyzed “X” style crossover pipe. 20.) Connect rear oxygen sensors installed in Bassani crossover pipe to electrical harness with supplied extensions. It will be required to trim off index lugs from male side of O2 sensor connectors to enable insertion into mating female connector of extension. 21.) Tighten all fasteners on left and right header assemblies. 22.) Reinstall air filter housing assembly and reconnect negative battery cable

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Disconnect the battery. 2. Safely raise & support vehicle to a comfortable working height. (One jack stand at each corner of vehicle.) 3. Spray attaching hardware and base of o2 sensors with WD40 or similar Lubricant. Remove 02 sensors from stock system. (Be careful not to damage or contaminate sensor). Stock gasket will be re-used upon assembly. 4. Remove both connector tubes between stock exhaust manifold and Bassani Modular X pipe. It may be necessary to loosen downstream clamps on the Bassani Modular X pipe. 5. Loosen EGR fitting on drivers side exhaust manifold. It will be necessary to remove nuts from the motor mounts at the K member to jack engine up. Motor mount heat shields have to be removed. 6. Loosen & remove both exhaust manifolds. 2 valve, stock manifold gaskets, depending on condition, may be re-used . Remove studs from both sides. Use supplied, and/or stock hardware. See note following #10. 7. Label wiring on starter and remove it. (Will be necessary for header installation) 8. You may also need to remove oil filter to ease installation and tightening on drivers’ side. 9. IMPORTANT! It will be necessary to unbolt steering shaft from rack. With a marker draw a straight line on shaft down to rack to index them both. Do not move front wheels or steering wheel. 10. It will be necessary to lift engine up enough to slide header tubes in and have access to install supplied header bolts. After loosening motor mount bolts, lifting engine (using a wooden block under oil pan) and removing motor mounts, one side at a time only, will ease installation. Removal of motor mounts is not mandatory. **Anti seize must be applied to all threads (header bolts and studs). It may be necessary to use a combination of header bolts and stock studs & nuts on certain tubes due to clearance between the tube and hardware. ie; stud nut or header bolt. The use of either is the installers preference. 11. Start on passenger side, with tube #1R. Push as far forward as possible to allow clearance for #2R. Once #2R is in position, install gaskets, and header bolts. When this is completed commence installation of #3R and #4R tubes following previous procedure. Leave bolts loose, DO NOT TIGHTEN UNTIL COLLECTOR IS INSTALLED. 12. When Collector R is ready for right side, place Bassani anti seize jet lube , on slip connectors to ease installation. When collector lines up with tab on header tube, fasten them together and tighten all header tubes. 13. When all hardware is properly tightened, lower engine, re-install motor mount hardware, starter and O2 sensors in collector. The use of Bassani anti seize Jet Lube is recommended on O2 sensor threads. Do not to contaminate O2 sensor bulb with lube. 14. Proceed to drivers’ side. Install #1L with gasket installed. Install supplied fasteners with Bassani anti seize jet lube on the threads. DO NOT TIGHTEN ALL THE WAY, leave semi loose. Install tube #3L, then #2L. You will need to experiment with pipes #2L and #3L. #2L will slip between #3L and #1L. Now install #4L, fasten and screw air fitting to tube #4L. Install Collector L . When collector tab lines up with header tab, tighten all hardware, and bolt on EGR, and any smog fittings. Lower engine and re-install motor mount hardware. Reconnect steering shaft using loctite 271 thread locker on bolt.

Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement Pickup Removal Procedure Important Clean the evaporative emission (EVAP) connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid possible system contamination. 1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information. 2. Remove the harness clip from the canister vent solenoid (CVS) line. 3. Disconnect the CVS electrical connector. 2004 Chevrolet Chevy K Silverado – 4WD 4. If the vehicle is equipped with a 6 ft box, disconnect the EVAP CVS line from the canister. 5. Remove the CVS clip from the frame crossmember. 6. Push in the retainer and remove the CVS from the fuel tank clip. 7. If the vehicle is equipped with a 8 ft box, disconnect the EVAP CVS line from the canister. 8. Remove the CVS clip from the frame crossmember. 9. Push in the retainer and remove the CVS from the fuel tank clip. Installation Procedure 1. If the vehicle is equipped with a 8 ft box, install the CVS to the fuel tank until the clip engages. Important On vehicles equipped with a 8 ft box, the CVS line is routed below the frame crossmember. 2. Install the CVS clip to the frame crossmember. 3. Connect the EVAP CVS line to the canister. 4. If the vehicle is equipped with a 6 ft box, install the CVS to the fuel tank until the clip engages. Important On vehicles equipped with a 6 ft box, the CVS line is routed above the frame crossmember. 5. Install the CVS clip to the frame crossmember. 6. Connect the EVAP CVS line to the canister. 7. Connect the CVS electrical connector. 8. Install the harness clip to the canister vent solenoid (CVS) line. 9. Lower the vehicle.

Disconnect battery. 2. Lift or jack car to a comfortable height. 3. Using WD-40 spray all 6 collector studs and nuts, Y-pipe slip connect, all 4 cat pipe studs & nuts 4. Remove stock Y-pipe by removing the 2 bracket bolts and loosening up the slip connector clamp at rear then remove the 4 nuts holding the Y-pipe to the cat pipes. Slip Y-pipe out, and free from the car. 5. Remove all 4 of the O2 sensors (1) on driver manifold (1) on drive cat pipe (2) on passenger cat pipe. Four total. 6. Remove the 3 nuts on the driver side cat pipe and then remove the 3 nuts on the passenger cat pipe (be careful because the cats are heavy). 7. Remove all 8 spark plug wires. 8. Remove air tube on driver side manifold using a 10 mm socket. 9. Remove air tube on passenger side manifold using a 10 mm socket with universal. 10. Remove EGR tube on passenger side manifold using a 10″ extension with a 10 mm socket and universal. 11. Remove air pump on passenger side of engine and swing out of the way. 12. Remove EGR in front of manifold on top with a 10 mm socket and move to side. 13. Remove dipstick on passenger side 4. Remove all manifold bolts on passenger side and take manifold out. NOTE: Manifolds are Heavy 15. Remove all manifold bolts on driver side and take manifold out. NOTE: Manifolds are Heavy. 16. Unplug electrical hook up on EGR and move out of way. Note: Make sure plug wires are all the way on, and check after installation. Note: Save all stock gaskets, they will be used in installation. INSTALLATION OF BASSANI HEADERS 1. Use Bassani Jet lube on all threads 2. Install the 4 collector studs in headers 2 ea. On each side & snug down. 3. Use the stock exhaust gaskets and install the passenger side header from the bottom and install all of the header bolts then tighten them down after all of them are in. 4. Repeat step 3 for Drivers side. 5. Install the EGR tube on the lower passenger side of the Header. 6. Install the dipstick on Passenger side of engine and put the bolt in. 7. Install plug wires on Passenger side. 8. Install Air tube on Passenger side with supplied 5/16 Hardware. 9. Install EGR to front of motor and plug wire back in. 10. Install EGR tube on top of manifold with 10MM socket. 11. Install the air tube on Drivers side header with supplied 5/16 hardware and Stock Gasket. 12. Install Drivers side spark plug wires, make sure they are all the way on. 13. Install O2 Sensor in Drivers side header and tighten down. 14. Install new Bassani Cat pipe on Drivers side with Jet Lube and supplied 7/16-14 flange nuts and leave loose. 15. Install 2 ea. O2 Sensors in Passenger side Cat pipe
