ADJUSTMENTS WINDOWS Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Loosen bolts holding window to regulator. Raise window fully, seating window in frame. Tighten bolts. Install door trim panel. TROUBLE SHOOTING POWER WINDOWS On Dakota, inspect circuit breaker No. 20 (20-amp) in junction block. On Durango inspect circuit breaker No. 21 (25-amp) in junction block. On all models, junction block is located on left end of instrument panel. Inspect fuse No. 9 (40-amp on Dakota, 50-amp on Durango) in Power Distribution Center (PDC). PDC is located in left front corner of engine compartment. Inspect power window system ground circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . SYSTEM TESTS ALL WINDOWS INOPERATIVE Dakota 1. Check circuit breaker for power window system. See TROUBLE SHOOTING . Replace circuit breaker as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, go to next step. 2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver’s front power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity between ground and terminal No. 3 (Black wire) at driver power window switch wiring harness connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Black wire between driver power window 2000 Dodge Durango 2000 ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT’ ‘Power Windows – Dakota & Durango 2000 Dodge Durango 2000 ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT’ ‘Power Windows – Dakota & Durango switch connector and ground. Procedures 1. Disconnect the alternator and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Check the Violet (VT) (GENerator MONitor or GENMON) wire from the alternator to pin 20 of the PCM connector and the Red/Pink (RD/PK) (GENerator COMmand or GENCOM) wire from the alternator to pin 45 of the PCM for high resistance, an open, or a short to ground. Repair the wiring as needed. 2. If the wiring checks OK, reconnect the PCM and alternator. Start the engine and monitor the VT wire for a roughly 0-10v square wave signal. The signal will be around 40-50% normally with no loads on the system and minimal charging system output. As the load increases, the duty cycle should increase (NOTE: the duty cycle is a positive duty cycle so as the duty cycle increases, the voltage high time increases). 3. If there is no signal on the wire, disconnect the alternator and with key on check the VT wire for roughly 9-10v from the PCM. If OK, jump the Orange/Light Blue (OG/LB) wire to battery voltage and recheck operation with everything connected. This wire should be battery voltage at all time. If the OG/LB wire has battery voltage, the VT wire shows voltage from the PCM but there is no signal on it with the alternator charging, suspect a faulty, defective or incorrect alternator

step 1: Preparing the wiring harness Get a wiring harness or adapter that will allow the car radio wiring to plug into the back of the new radio. These can be found at Walmart for $4.99. Make sure that the plug is compatible with your car (check the list on the back of the box). Have shown the back of the new radio – the black set of pins is where the included black plug will go to. The free wires on the black plug provided with the new audio system will be connected to an adapter that will plug into the car wiring. For the Toyota Corolla 1995 wagon, the wiring diagram is as shown below. Your car may differ substantially from this step 2: Connecting the wires Connect the wires from the plug that came with the new radio to the wiring harness adapter that you purchased separately. Twist the correct wires together and then solder them (or use wire nuts if you dot have soldering equipment). Cover the exposed wire with electricians tape or heat seal tape. Attached is another table on how you connect your Toyota wiring adapter to the radio plug. Please, do remember that your radio and car will differ a bit step 3: Removing the old radio Remove the factory installed radio (the instructions apply only for Corollas from 95-98). Remove the two screws below the panel. Have shown a picture with the location of these screws. Remove the control knobs for the AC and the fan, etc. These come off pretty easily with a gentle pull. Use a thin blade (metal spatula) to probe approximately 2/3rd of the way up and try to pry the sides out. The metal blade will disengage the clip on each side. Took a bit of gentle effort but it did pop out. The location of these clips is just below the vents. Lift the panel up, reach under it to carefully remove the plugs on the right hand side that connect the defroster, the clock and the hazard flasher. The plugs can be removed by squeezing a release tab on the plug and then gently pulling them apart. Remove the radio – two pairs of screws on each side of the radio hold it in place. Remove these (and hold onto them because you will need them later on) and then slide the radio out.

ON-VEHICLE TESTING NO LOAD TEST 1) Disconnect alternator terminal “B” wire. Using an ammeter and voltmeter, connect negative ammeter lead to disconnected alternator terminal “B” wire and positive lead to alternator terminal “B”. Connect voltmeter positive lead to alternator terminal “B” and negative lead to ground. See Fig. 1. the first and most important thing to do when you receive your replacement alternator, assuming it’s not a direct replacement, is to make up a simple measuring jig for it. This is nothing more than a 1′ or 1 ½” angle with 2 holes drilled to simultaneously hold both alternators by the rear of the lower (i.e. longer) mounting tab. See Figure 3 for the one I built in about 1 minute. This fixture allowed me to line up the pulleys, and then measure the difference between the back of the lower mounting tab and the front of the tab, giving me the new measurement for the lower mounting bracket Figure 3. Measurement fixture; OEM alternator in the rear, Powermaster PWM-47294 alternator in front. Pulleys are lined up; note how easy it is to measure the distance from measurement fixture (the 1 ½” angle) to the front of the lower mounting tabs of both alternators. The difference in this distance is the measurement that the lower mounting bracket needs to be lengthened. Note the use of the 8 washers to move the Powermaster alternator forward. Note from Figure 2 that the OEM lower mounting tab is slightly longer than the Powermaster 47294 (2.285″ vs. 2″). From the measurements taken from the fixture, I then cut the lower mounting bracket and rewelded it, making it approximately ¾” longer. For strength, I added a ¼” x 1″ x 2.5″ long steel flat bar to the side of the bracket. See Figure 4 for a picture of the lower mounting bracket as modified and installed. When I rewelded the lower bracket, I made it approximately one 3/8″ washer (~.085″) longer than I thought I needed. As it turned out, this was fortuitous since when tightening the lower bracket, it pulls the front tab and therefore the alternator and its pulley, to the rear by a very slight amount. This added length was just enough to keep the alternator pulley lined up with the crankshaft pulley

Items required for installation: Push pin 10mm bolt 10mm nut TOYOTA PRIUS 2010 FOG LAMP KIT 1 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 3.2 • Attach fog lamp to bezel. STEP 3.3 • Fog lamp and bezel assembly. STEP 3.4 • Place fog lamp and bezel assembly onto vehicle. Fasten fog lamp to vehicle with 10mm nut and supplied screw. ( Repeat step 3 for passenger side ) STEP 4.0 Removal of interior trim on driver side STEP 4.1 • Pull up on lower door trim. STEP 4.2 • Foot panel-Remove 16mm plastic nut. STEP 4.3 • Pull foot panel inward toward center console. STEP 4.4 • Remove screw. STEP 4.5 • Disconnect hood release cable from latch by pulling down on the black cable freeing it from its location. Then moving the cable to the left away from the mounting bracket. STEP 4.6 • Remove cable from latch. STEP 4.7 • Pull lower left interior panel away from dash and unplug connectors. CAUTION! You may damage wiring and connectors if you pull too hard. Driver side interior removed. 2 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 4.8 • Remove two screws and push back on tab to free lower panel. STEP 4.9 • Unplug connector and wire harness from panel and remove panel by pulling it toward the driver seat. STEP 5.0 Fog lamp switching wiring • Run WHITE wire through V-channel and pull female bullet connector end towards fire wall. • Connect ground wire to dashboard frame. STEP 5.4 • Plug green connector into fog lamp switch. (Plug all connectors removed from Step 4 and place panel back in position) STEP 6.0 Fog lamp wiring harness • From the panel removed under the steering wheel locate hole in grommet. STEP 6.1 • Puncture hole with O-ring pick/Philips screw driver or any sharp object no larger that the black tubing. (You want a tight seal between grommet and wire). STEP 5.1 • Remove tape from lower connector on ECU and locate BROWN wire. Use the bridge connector to connect RED wire to BROWN wire. You may need to cut RED wire to proper length. STEP 5.2 • Remove. STEP 5.3 • Replace with fog lamp switch. STEP 6.2 • Insert coat hanger or welding rod through punctured hole. Push rod far enough into engine compartment so you can retrieve it. STEP 6.3 • Bend tip or rod with needle nose pliers. STEP 6.4 • Insert hook end into bullet connector making sure black tubing is close to rod. V-channel Ground 3 of 4 01-25-2010 STEP 6.5 IMPORTANT! Wrap electrical tape around connector, tubing and rod. It is important that all three be secured as one unit so not to rip connector from wiring. You want tubing to take as much of the pull force as possible. STEP 6.6 • Apply soapy water to the entire length of black tubing and from the inside of the vehicle pull rod until wire breaks through grommet. 2.5-3ft of wiring should be sufficient. STEP 6.7 • Run wiring along side the black tube indicated until it meets female end of the WHITE fog lamp wire switch. STEP 6.8 • Connect both ends together and tie strap wiring to black tube. STEP 6.9 • On the top left corner of the fuse box (to the right of the brake fluid reservoir) locate silver ECU mounting bracket. STEP 6.10 • Remove 10mm bolts and attach BLACK ground and relay as indicated. STEP 6.11 • Attach harness connector to relay. STEP 6.12 • Run wire harness between ECU and fuse box. Run RED power wire along the same path as WHITE power wire in fuse box. Connect RED power wire to 12V power source directly above WHITE cable. STEP 7.0 Connecting wire harness to fog lamps • Run wiring for driver and passenger side lamps down toward driver side fog lamp. • Connect shortest harness to driver side fog lamp. Run wire harness alongside turn signal harness. • Use the supplied tie straps to secure passenger side wire harness along the radiator support frame shown. • Connect harness to fog lamp • END of installation
